FAQS

Still undecided? Take a look at some frequently asked questions to put yourself at ease. If you have a question for us, please get in touch at hello@thegoodretreat.ca

Is it ok to come on the retreat alone?

Absolutely! It’s a great way to get the full retreat experience, time to yourself and have the opportunity to make new like-minded friends along the way.

How do i reserve my place?

Please complete the registration with your details and you will get an email with instructions for payment. Full payment is required to secure bookings. We want to make our retreats accessible to as many people as possible and are open to setting up a payment plan if it is required by you.

What is your cancellation policy?

Full payment is required to secure spots. If cancellation takes place prior to July 1 2024, you will get a refund less $500. There will be no refunds after July 1 2024, however booking is transferable if you can find someone to take your place.

Do i need pilates experience to go on the retreat?

No pilates experience necessary! Our retreats are open to all levels and you can trust that our experienced instructors will offer exercise modifications if needed. Simply come with an open mind.

How many people attend the retreat?

Each retreat will be different but our good weekend edition in Collingwood is capped at 12 guests.

What is the typical age of people who attend the retreat?

The typical age of retreaters are between 30s to 60s. Mostly women but all are welcomed.

Can i still do the classes if i am pregnant or postpartum?

Absolutely! Our movement classes are pregnancy/postpartum friendly and we will provide modifications if necessary.

What kind of food can i expect?

Food is a very important part of the retreat and you can trust that much love has gone into the planning. It will be a nourishing farm to table experience with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Please let us know before if you have any special dietary restrictions or allergies. We would most likely be able to accommodate it.

How do i get to the retreat venue?

Driving directions will be sent out closer to the retreat date. Where possible, we can also group together arriving guests who need rides to share costs. Although transport is not included in retreat pricing, please reach out if you need help with arranging travel.

Do i have to participate in all classes and activities?

Heck no! All classes and activities are invitations. If you'd rather sleep in or enjoy some free time, you are welcome to do that! You do you.

What should i bring?

These details will all be given to you a few weeks prior to the retreat and will differ depending on the type of activities. We will have mats and props provided for movement classes. You can expect to bring comfortable clothes to move in and running/hiking shoes for hikes.
